About the Job
We are looking for a highly organized Project Coordinator to support the Office of Chief Information Office (OCIO) Project Management Office within Office of Personnel Management (OPM). This position requires experience in effectively developing and maintaining integrated project schedules for IT infrastructure and operations projects. The Project Coordinator will demonstrate excellent client handling skills with the ability to quickly develop relationships at all levels of the client organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, Track and Monitor the progress of all project activities and report on status, risks, and issues. Recommend adjustment to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Support meetings between PMs that have dependencies on other's projects.
  • Review project schedules with Project managers and project teams.
  • Analyze trends, develop reports, facilitate communication, and provide feedback on projects and programs performance.
  • Perform Risk Analysis and Risk Planning for projects when necessary. Additionally, assist in identifying and recommending mitigation strategies for project schedule risks.
  • Support the day-to tactical operation of the projects (planning, execution of project, and project deliverables).
  • Provide comprehensive status and progress reviews to project and program manager and senior management.
  • Support, communicate, reinforce, and champion the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
  • Provides support for the development of Project Management Guidance and Standards.
  • Provide project management analyst and/or coordinator support.
  • Deliver Project Management SME support, training, and mentoring.
  • Update project schedules using MS Project 2016 Pro and Project Online.
  • Support the development of executive level reports and dashboards using MS Power BI.
  • Support the development of reports using MS Project Online, SharePoint, and MS Excel data sets.
  • Support the development of reports using project schedule data and financial data.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of IT program/project management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting an IT PMO in a Federal consulting environment.
  • Experience supporting MS Project Server and/or MS Project Online, including system administration tasks (Preferred).
  • Experience developing complex reports and dashboards using MS Power BI (Preferred).
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification (Preferred).
  • Agile certifications, such as SAFe Agilist or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (Preferred).
  • Expertise with both agile and waterfall environments.
  • Expertise in using all Microsoft Suite Products (including: SharePoint, Excel, and Power Point).
